I have always had difficulty getting consistently good color at salons. I have lived in several cities and tried many expensive salons. I now go to Matt at Aqua in Royal Oak and my color is perfect every time. He listens and delivers exactly what I ask for!

I would just like you to know how much I love getting my hair cut and color at Aqua salon. Bianca is my hair stylist and she is exceptional. I don't know if there are enough words to discribe how wonderful and sweet she is. She not only does my hair but really listens to my concerns or makes suggestions that have made me happy every single time I visit her.

I am a new client that will be returning. Martha is wonderful stylist and colorist . She did a beautiful job choosing the right colors for high low highlighting on my long hair. I gave her a vague idea of how I wanted my hair cut and she did an awesome job. Martha's personality is warm and friendly ...Thank you Martha :)

I have had a lot of negative experiences with hair stylists in the past, so for years, I avoided salons all together. Last year, I decided to try Aqua Salon in Royal Oak and got an appt with Matt. I must say, this was the best decision I ever made. Matt is really sweet & a good listener, who takes the time to hear what your personal hair issues are, then works his magic! My hair has never looked better. Thank you, Matt. You're the best!

My impression of Amy is nothing but professional and creative. She has a gift in using the right color for your hair and in communicating with her clients. Her skills in cutting hair is also superb. She knows what she does and gave me a beautiful hair cut I ever had for almost 8 years (yes, it is true I did not have a good hair stylist for that long). So I highly recommend Amy -- a five star recommendation! Thanks to Amy and also to helpful Ulysses.

I went to see Christina at the Royal Oak shop to get pink "highlights". I came in with a very vague explaination of what I wanted and Christina worked with my wants and needs as far as my hair and the color I wanted. I love it!!!! thanx Christina!

I have been shopping around lately for a hairdresser who is a bit more reasonable. When I called Aqua and they informed me of the prices, I couldn't believe it- and to top it off, they were able to see me right away. Bianca highlighted and cut my hair and it looks fantastic. She is sweet, friendly and doesn't dilly-dally. I was in and out in 1 hour and 15 minutes; it didn't take her 3 hours to do a fabulous job! I'm definitely coming back, and spreading the word to my girlfriends who pay upwards of $150 for the same services! Thanks Aqua- although I was a bit trepid at first, I'm sold on your salon!!

I don't really write reviews but I think everyone should know about Bianca at Aqua Salon. It was my first time getting my hair cut at Aqua Salon a couple of weeks ago. I was referred to Bianca by my friend Elena. Upon my arrival, Bianca greeted me promptly. My hair was so bad when I got there and I walked out feeling like a new person. She really listens to what you want and delivers. She did the perfect color to compliment my skin tone and an awesome cut to fit my style. The head wash/massage was amazing. Bianca is also super sweet and friendly. Would highly recommend Bianca to anyone who wants a professional and sexy hairdo!!! Another plus is that there was no pressure to buy products. I ended up purchasing some products while I was there, but it was not pushed upon me.
