After attending Central Michigan University for two years, I decided to pursue a career where I could express my talent for creativity. After finishing up at Central, I went right in to Douglas J in East Lansing, where I received extensive training and great experience working on clients. My first week at school, I knew that the beauty field was my calling. Shortly following graduating, I worked with the owner until he had the confidence in me to work on my own after two months. Looking your best, starting with your hair, plays a large role in how you feel about yourself in your everyday lives or professionally in the workplace. I specialize in precision cutting and dimensional hair color on anyone from short, trendy hair to long, beautiful locks. When working with each of my clients, I take into account their face shape, tone of skin, health of hair, and everyday lifestyle. Whether you want your look to be more dramatic or you just want classic style, I'm confident that my technique will work for you. It is very important to keep up with the latest trends therefore continuing my education is very important to me. I am very friendly, outgoing, up beat, and a good listener. I am very picky about my highlights.. so when i called the aqua i asked for someone who was great with blondes and the lady referred me to lisa. I was so nervous when i got there but once i sat in her chair she made me feel so comfortable and was very confident and reassuring. She did a better job than my previous hairstylist, no joke! before i got there she was finishing up a blonde client and when i was all done she had another blondie waiting for her! if you want great blonde hilights, go see lisa!! thanks so much!!

I went from Very Bad Hairday to The Absolute Best Cut I've ever EVER Had!!! It was like going to Marshalls and finding Neiman Marcus only HAIR!!! Lisa was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Trust me I have been to the best and she is better. I'm never going anywhere else, ever, never ever, ever, ever....ever again!

I go to Lisa at the Royal Oak salon and have never been disappointed or walked out feeling less than great and am very happy with her services!
I recommend her to anyone looking for a new stylist. Very friendly and professional, which seems to be a rare thing in salons these days!

I had not had a hair cut or color in over 9 months!! yes I said 9 months. I told Lisa I really didn't care what she did just make my hair look better. And after the best highlight I have ever had she topped it off with the best haircut too! The haircut fit me and is so easy to manage. I will be back to see Lisa for my next haircut and it wont be 9 months from now!!! Thank you so much you don't know how good you made me feel.

I recently got highlights done by Lisa and I could not be happier. I have darker hair so I was a little apprehensive to put any lighter colors in it, but really wanted a change from my day to day look. I explained this to Lisa and she knew exactly what to do. I now have a fresher look with more dimension. Thanks so much, Lisa, you are fabulous!

I recentley went to Lisa for the first time and she did such a great job on my hair and she was so sweet and genuine. She has a great personality and was making me laugh, while I got my hair done. I told her she would be my only hairstylist from now on.

I moved to Royal Oak about a year ago. I have been driving 30 minuets to my old hair stylist every month because I couldn't find a new one that I liked. I went to Lisa and gave her free reign on my hair, no instructions. Long story short, I've never gotten so many complements on my hair. The night she styled it I went to a runway show and my date was asked if I was a model. No more half hour drives!!!

I am extremely picky about my hair. It is pretty long and I really like it cut a certain way. I have gone to about 4 different stylists in the past few years and never been satisfied with both my cut and color. After going to Lisa, I will not let anyone else touch my hair! She listens to exactly what I want and incorporates her own ideas for a great style and amazing color. I have never recived more compliments than I do now, and would highly reccomend her to absolutely anyone! Thanks Lisa!

My hair has been the same for a number of years and I wanted a new look. Having no idea of what i wanted walking into the salon Lisa INSTANTLY knew what would be a good look for me! I was nervous at first but I was amazed with the end result, i feel like a whole new person....i am VERY thankful for her help and HIGHLY RECOMMEND her!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lisa has been my hairdresser for about a year now and I absolutely love her. She does an amazing job with my hair. We've done everything from cuts, color and thermal styling to relaxers and I've never been disappointed. Lisa really cares about her work and her clients. My hair is as healthy as its ever been thanks to her.
